P...P...Procrastination

Something I’m sure you all can relate to! This is a piece that I created entirely in Photoshop on the weekend as part of a massive procrastination session. It is amazing the things that distract you when you are struggling to come up with ideas. This piece explores the idea of that 'negative space' that seems to be there when you are in that situation.

Oh... and I have also attached a link below of a remix of one of my favourite artists; Bon Iver. One would not usually associate the words remix with this artist but it is amazingly good. Listen to it I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Valerie Collective

The Valerie Collective was started as a blog in 2007 by French DJ College. The name was influenced by the 80’s, as was the music it showcased.
After two years of existence, the blog has become a real multimedia project. “Valerie is now not only a blog, but a collective composed of music artists in the west of France”. It is made up of muic geniuses The Outrunners, College, Anoraak, Minitel Rose, Maethelvin and Russ Chimes. And there music is nothing short of amazing.
Although not directly related to my line of work, music is still a big influence on me. The 80’s, new wave, electro pop has really taken off in the music world and I’m well and truly on the band wagon.
